Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW)

The concealed carry weapons (CCW) class typically involves six hours of classroom instruction followed by two hours of live range training. The classroom portion covers crucial topics such as firearm safety, relevant state laws regarding concealed carry, situational awareness, and the legal aspects of using a firearm in self-defense. Students learn about proper holster selection, carry techniques, and strategies for avoiding dangerous situations. The two-hour range session focuses on practical shooting skills, including drawing from concealment, accuracy, and handling under stress, ensuring participants are prepared to carry responsibly and confidently.

PISTOL (IF YOU DO NOT OWN A PISTOL, I HAVE A FEW MODELS THAT YOU CAN UTILIZE).

• MANDATORY ITEMS: EYE PROTECTION, EAR PROTECTION, PISTOL AND MAGS(3MAG) AND A PLACE TO CARRY THEM.
• SHOOTER INFORMATION FORM
• 100-150 ROUNDS OF PISTOL AMMUNITION PER SHOOTER. (NO LEAD TIPPED AMMUNITION) THIS CAN BE PURCHASED AT ANY GUN STORE(TOWERS ARMORY, FIN FEATHER FUR, ETC.)
• THE FIRE ARMS ARE CALIBER SPECIFIC.  
• WATER/HYDRATION BOTTLE, NOTEPAD/PEN
• CLOSE TOE SHOES.
• OPTIONAL ITEMS:
• LUNCH OR SNACKS, SUNSCREEN, LONG SLEEVES, BUG SPRAY, CAMP-STYLE CHAIR, WIPES FOR YOUR HANDS

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER THE RANGE IS AN OUTDOOR FACILITY.
